Editor correction, 27 September 2026: An earlier version put an unfinished clinic comparison in the headline while the body did not contain the promised research. We have not verified, visited or ranked clinics or practitioners, and we have not confirmed treatment outcomes or current fees. This page now explains what to check before booking.
Verify the practitioner
If you are considering traditional or complementary medicine services, ask who will provide the service and what registration and practising certificate applies. Malaysia’s Ministry of Health T&CM Division says registered T&CM practitioners are recorded by the T&CM Council and provides an official practitioner-status check. Verify the individual practitioner rather than assuming a clinic name establishes their status.
Questions before making an appointment
- Who will see you, and how can you verify their current registration or certificate?
- What service is proposed, what does the consultation include, and what is the quoted total cost?
- What information should you share about existing conditions, medicines or other care before deciding on a service?
- What are the clinic’s current hours, location, cancellation terms and follow-up arrangements?
Answers can differ between providers and over time. Confirm them directly with the provider before paying or booking. This page does not advise that a treatment is suitable for a particular condition and does not compare clinical outcomes.
What this page does not establish
We have not assessed any Penang clinic’s quality, practitioner credentials, consultation cost or treatment effectiveness. No named clinic or “best” ranking is endorsed here. Seek individualized advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional for personal health decisions.
