Bertam’s waste-collection PDF: decode A, B and C before using a location row

For a Bertam household, a waste-collection schedule is useful only if the correct location row and the correct waste column are read together. MBSP’s Zone 2 PDF includes a letter legend alongside domestic, bulk and cleaning information. A copied text fragment can collapse those columns, creating an apparently clear day that belongs to a different service.

Read the legend before the row

The PDF legend uses A for Monday, Wednesday and Friday; B for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; and C for daily collection. These definitions are the published document’s meaning, checked on 20 October 2026. They are not evidence that a particular collection actually occurred.

An earlier source check found the schedule index grouping the links under 2026; the index could not be retrieved during the20October refresh. The PDF legend is readable, but do not treat its undated filename as a permanent schedule for every future year.

Find the full location identity

Match the street, housing area or listed collection point, not merely the word Bertam. Similar housing names and different phases can have different entries. Record the exact label you matched and leave it unresolved if your address does not clearly correspond.

Do not transfer a neighbouring row’s code to a missing address. For an actual uncertainty, ask through the council’s current service route with the precise location. This guide does not assign an address that was not provided.

Keep the waste types in separate columns

The PDF distinguishes domestic and bulk collection and includes cleaning information. A day appearing after a location in flattened text may belong to any of those columns. The original visual layout, not the order of copied words alone, is needed to interpret the row.

The source text was readable, but the screenshot fetch in the earlier review failed. No ambiguous location-specific bulk day is reproduced here. Before using a particular row, inspect the PDF in a viewer where the header and column alignment are visible.

Prepare a missed-service enquiry accurately

A useful record includes the exact location, waste type, published schedule reference and the date of the observation. Describe what you actually saw. A full bin at one moment does not establish the complete cause of a missed service or identify a responsible person.

Do not attach speculative allegations or expose personal contact details from an old document. Current reporting arrangements should be obtained from MBSP, and an acknowledgement should not be described as confirmed resolution.

Use the PDF as a dated operational source

Decode the letter, verify the location and preserve the service column before relying on a day. Refresh the current schedule and any exceptional notice for the date that matters. That small sequence produces a better mainland service enquiry than a screenshot with its headings cut off. Sources: the Zone 2 Bertam PDF and official schedule index.
